MaptoD, 04 Sep 2019Of course I'm not serious. I want a phone with 5,5 inch screen and little bezels. And top hard... moreWell nobody likes 5.5 inches in this day and age. 5.5 inches is universally accepted as not big enough if you catch my drift.

I hope that Xiaomi makes flagships with different screen sizes for different people.
Like making bezel-less 5.5" and 6.0" and 6.5" and even 7.0" flagships.
And they could call them like this:
5.5" - Mi MIX 4 Tiny
6.0" - Mi MIX 4 Compact
6.5" - Mi MIX 4 Jumbo
7.0" - Mi MIX 4 Max

Marco M, 09 Sep 2019I do, and I want more. Currently I have the tiny Mi Mix 3, and I miss my old Mi Max' screensiz... moreof course, the area is bigger on square than on rectangle with the same diagonal.
mi mix 3: 100.2 cm2
mi max: 114.3 cm2
I experienced the same by switching note 4 for LG G6 (both 5.7").

Kuba, 05 Sep 2019my only problem with newest flagships is they GROW in size and weight. seriously, who needs 16... moreI do, and I want more. Currently I have the tiny Mi Mix 3, and I miss my old Mi Max' screensize. On paper they are similar, 6.39" and 6.44", but due to their aspect ratios the actual size difference and practicality of the screens are huge.

What I want is a higher end version of the Mi Max 3, not SD8-series, but top 6- series or 7-series and with better camera a slightly less bezels.

If handling a 0.2kg device is too much for you, consider exercising your wrists/body, because that really shouldn't pose any challenge.

MaptoD, 04 Sep 2019Of course I'm not serious. I want a phone with 5,5 inch screen and little bezels. And top hard... moreA 5.5" display with small bezels would be tiny, as it would resemble a stretched 5" screen in size.

The Xperia 5 is a great compact device. Only 68mm wide for those with tiny hands.
That makes it only 3mm wider than the Xperia Z Compact-series, with only 4.3 - 4.6" displays.

For comparison, the old LG G5 (5.3") was 73.9 mm wide and the SGS7 (5.1") was 69.6mm wide. A lot has happened in three years.

Galaxy Note 7, 04 Sep 2019The real question is "is this the inscreen camera phone we've all been waiting for?"Exactly. That is why I am passing on the Nex 3. No IP rating and breakable moving parts = No buy. If the Mix 4 has IP rating and under screen front camera with no notch or cutout, then I will pick it up.

Do anyone remember the good old days when flagships used to brag about their 8mp rear cameras? Fast forward to 2019 and we now have/will have one hundred and 8mp cameras, damn... time flies 😌

MaptoD, 04 Sep 2019Enough with this little phone, I want 8 inch screen! :D ;)Why tho. I can't tell if you're serious or not. But an 8 inch screen just isn't possible even with literally no bezels due to the size. Unless it were something like a 32:9 aspect ratio.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2019I just hope it hits global markets and is not exclusive to China, like most Xiaomi devices. The previous Mi Mix phones has been available at least in Europe and most of Asia, so I assume this will as well. Not sure where in the world you are located though :-)

Official distributor of Xiaomi in Turkey sells Mi Mix 3 at $1000 - 5600₺
btw minimum wage is 2020₺
Taxes taxes taxes taxes
Iphone Xs Max $2100
Huawei P30 Pro $1410
Samsung Note 10+ $2470
Oppo Reno 10x $1410

Google Pixel, Oneplus, Vivo, LG, Sony brands left the market. Everything is expensive. Technology is good if you can have it or if you can easily have it.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2019What's the point of a device marketed as an imaging product when it is has an ultra narrow scr... moreProblem is they all want to have "bigger screen", measured in inches diagonal. 20:9 6" is actually smaller than 16:9 5.7", but noone cares - 6" is more than 5.7". Until, You put both devices next to each other and open a 16:9 (normal size) video or a full res. 4:3 image and the "larger 6" screen" actually produces a smaller image. oops
However, if You keep the aspect ratio at 16:9 and grow the screen, the device becomes too wide to handle one-handed. But I don't think anyone buying a Note series is remotely expecting to be able to use it with one hand, anyways.
