Here in the Philippines, it is now more common to see people with their smartphones such as iPhone and SGS2 though majority still uses features phones made by Nokia.

It is not uncommon to find a phone multiple people using the same phone where I come from.
Besides, I really don't think the Asha range was designed for the 'higher class' European and American markets.

Are they running s40? Seems a shame - would like Nokia to make updated E-series phones with an S60v3 version of Belle at a budget price point, rather than these odd contraptions

Nokia needs to equip Asha 302 with multi tasking. No point of having a 1 GHz processor if it can't multi task. Trust me, once this is sorted out, this phone will be unstoppable.

The gaming thing was a good option but nokia should also tell people that they are getting games of a price which is even more than phone themselves. Otherwise it is useless for both nokia and customers
