808's design is better than that of all of the Samsung lineup which has basically the same design for each and every goddamn phone.

                The fact is....

                - Symbian Belle has enough features for 95% of users.

                - Symbian Belle (and Nokia Store) has enough apps for 95% of users.

                - 640x360 screen is enough for 95% of users.

                - Nokia has the best build quality of them all.

                - Symbian Belle has the best battery life as compared to other OS.

Nokia and Symbian are still relevant.

Kevin McIntyre, 27 Feb 2012Hi there, I think you need to read the press releast properly. The sensor is 41MP, but ... moreIt's still digital cropping.

An addition about the sensor resolution. The sensor is 41 MP, but the effective sensor is 38 MP. This allow them to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 (the old computer screen size), 16:9 (wide screen) and 2:3 (35mm film) without losing much resolution. Many cameras simply take picture at full size and crop it afterward, reducing the pixel count.

sorry but why are so many people going crazy, yes this Nokia will be the best in camera department but at almost 20 mm thickness at the camera area how can it not be, give any manufacturer that headroom and they will match or even better this without a doubt.

Gladiator, 27 Feb 2012Yeah but galaxy ace costs abt less-than half d cost of dis phone. N check out the list of most... moreYeah....

                                Galaxy Y pixel pitch: 0.189 mm/pixel
                                Galaxy ACE pixel pitch : 0.153 mm/pixel

Shows that people really don't care that much about pixel density except for us geeks.

                                Nokia 808 pixel pitch: 0.138 mm/ pixel

                                3.2" HVGA screens pixel pitch: 0.141 mm/pixel

So 808's pixel density is a bit better than 3.2" 320X480 displays. Enough for 95% of the users.
