The regular RM3 price was $531 8/128 at launch(Asia), i doubt its improved version with SD855+ will cost less than that.
I just wanna ask about the difference between the cn and the global version ? Why would you want for the global version if the cn is better ?
Does it finally have USB 3 and video out over USB-C ?

Walter C. Dornez, 05 Sep 2019Doesn't it run Stock Plus though? As for water resistance, I think the fan on the back doesn't... moreYeah, it runs basically Stock OS. I had to return mine, it was unbearable. Even though it was almost Stock, it wasn't optimised/stable and had lot's of bugs. It's not an isolated case either, lot's of people online with issues, and there's little hope for updates. I even pre-warned GSMArena, and even their review unit was affected. The local Chinese Rom seems to be much more stable, but then again, it's in another language and you miss out on the whole Google Apps. They could be fixed, but I'm not waiting. Still no word or hope for Custom Roms afaik.
As for waterproofing, Nubia did "leak" and even marketed this as Splash Resistant to something like IP66. They did end up removing all references to it later. Testing shows the fan isn't affected by water. In fact, the fan almost has no effect on the device. However, the ports and the seams of the phone are not ingress protected, so you get water intrusion. And the inside is not coated with a hydrophobic element, something Motorola used to do before they were acquired by Lenovo. Waterproofing it is doable, it just requires extra R&D and Tooling to get it right. I think Nubia did attempt it early on, but gave up somewhere during the prototyping stage.
As for Removable Battery.... this is the perfect phone to have one. Long after this has faded into obscurity, there will be people trying to use this like a Portable Console. A user accessible battery would've made this a reality, and a feature for power-users. Now its just a pipe dream, and another device to add to the list of Planned Obsolescence.
Kangal, 05 Sep 2019Plus it's still missing either Water resistance and/or Removable Battery. Not to mention that... moreDoesn't it run Stock Plus though? As for water resistance, I think the fan on the back doesn't allow for it. As for removable battery, well that's obvious
D1G1T, 05 Sep 2019If it lacks NFC like Red Magic 3 it's a show stopper for me.Plus it's still missing either Water resistance and/or Removable Battery.
Not to mention that it's physically "too large" for most pockets.
...and that the global rom software is probably going to be riddled with bugs again!
So what's the software support going to be? It seemed to suck pretty bad over at XDA with few updates and not much going on.

Do you suppose those people who are likely more knowledgeable than you, didn't know what they were doing to spend all the money on it? The sort of system used in these sensors requires oversampling to get better results. They want to do 32k to get good 8k or so on pro cameras. This is advanced industry stuff that has only come to light in recent years.
8k should give good fullhd, OK 4k. But on a 180 degree wide angle lens instead, you basically get over sampled fullhd on a normal viewing angle, before zoom. The other issue is, that 4k wide stills is not so good for large prints. So there are a few advantages. The problem is few phones are likely to do it well, with a proper mobile lens and encoding. But explorers will explore.
hcrvelin, 05 Sep 2019I still prefer Black Shark 2+ Yes Black Shark is better than nubia
Anonymous, 05 Sep 2019What no 8k 30fps video? How long are they going take?Uh! You really want 8k from a phone sensor ?
Anyone who remotely even needs 8k would bother to buy a proper camera for it.
Excluding content creators for whom quality is paramount and want lots of pixels to play around with, 8k is useless.
What no 8k 30fps video? How long are they going take?
