for all those who are wondering how camera works here it is :-
Normally a 41 mp camera will produce a huge size pic ranging in 18 to 22 mb and this will eat up the space on card very fast so nokia found a work around they wanted lesser size pictures without compromising great details that comes with a large size sensor with 41mp, what they did is take several pics with 5mp resolution each time concentrating on different part of the field , combine all these pics and viola u got a 5mp size pic
with a detail of a details of a 41mp lens......now may be its not possible to appreciate this when the picture
is zoom out but once you zoom in you won't get any loss of details or pixelation or blurring as normally happens with 5mp or 8mp pics even with 2x zoom...you can even print that photo on a very large frame...
in other words it will use several of those pixels from the 41mp to clear out the noise of a a single pixel for say a 5 MP version. A smaller more cleaner pic you might say and not the billboard you might be imagining though u can print one.......
now many of you will argue it can't compete with dslr camera truth is nokia doesn't intend to compete it with any1 of them though it can give many of them run for their money, it competes with other mobile cameras in market like xperia s and its gonna smoke them...this kind of technology is atleast 3yrs ahead of competetion

41MP?? I've seen 12MP cameras with better photo quality than this! What's the use of a 41MP sensor when the image is blurry You can actually see the pixels! :)

woooow so impressive but why nokia dont u make us 3D phones or phones with 5inch screen ..we need more nokia moreeeeeeee I dont really like windows 7 on nokia I prefer megoo or smbyian ..Im using nokia n9 with megoo..woooow so smooth and work really well ..

Alui, 27 Feb 2012Got bored to wait for the pictures to load, and gave up. There's your problem Nokia!It's not Nokia's problem, it's GSM Arena's problem for not being able to download full sized pic but waiting instead to load it, and then see it. 41Mpix pix is quite large!
