Matt99, 22 Sep 2019It's not Huawei that will miss out but the states that will. LOL, how will the states miss out on this? Please enlighten me
ProJames-CHM, 22 Sep 2019Isn't there also a minimum of 2 years of warranty in EU or is that specific countries?
And... moreExactly. I dunno like is somewhere else but ehre in Slovakia and in our neighbours country everythign which havent limited time of use I.E. food for example have 2 years of warranty if the manufacturer did not state something else.
For example Waschmaschines by samsung have also 2 years of warranty but you have a 10 years of warranty for engine.
Or Kia cars have 7 years of warranty.
And as i said before bootloader should be removed i mean option to void warranty and instal custom rom whether you are experienced or not unexpected miracle can always happens and your phone dies.

Apple still use 4gb of ram and fhd on 1000+ $$$... And is no1 company because they sell services ....
So who care about 12 GB ram if you can't watch an video on YouTube...

And yes I understand that. Some people are definitely not ready to fiddle with bootloaders and junk so they'll end up bricking their device. They just hear something "get Pie on S5 or something", they get all excited and then they make a mistake.

ProJames-CHM, 21 Sep 2019In EU, it's illegal to void the warranty due to root or unlocking bootloader.

But rather i would have 2 years of warranty than risking i will kill my brand new lets say 500 eur device and then ask the vendor i bought the phone to fix it because clumsy people always try to do something stupid and guide from youtube not always 100% working if you know what i mean.
And many people here acting like Rambo to be honest.
We need some changing grobal is not all it's about Google. I want something different. Mate 30 is my answer I will buy it.
Anonymous, 21 Sep 2019Really? Why is it that in my country Huawei paid a lot for advertisement and yet they are not ... moreRegretted getting a Huawei phone? Can you explain why? It is tru Huawei can be a little misleading like when they claimed that Kirin would beat Bionic A12 or them not mentioning that Video recording wasn't on par with picture quality on previous flagships, but that's far from making Huawei previous flagships not worth it. Huawei flagships can perform well and they are more durable than a lot of phones released.
HxH, 21 Sep 2019So as far as I can get this is how Chinese OEM are positioned: Xiaomi - Affordable devices ... moreIn terms of brand value and quality of the product Huawei sits right between Samsung and OnePlus, which are both placed above other Chinese companies you just mentioned. You claim that they have ties with CCP, but with that logic literally ALL Chinese companies are tied with them because of the Chinese law which allows companies based in China to help them out in whatever the way possible in a state of national emergency. Their network equipments are the one which are criticised for backdoors and national security thingy(although they haven't been proven), not their PHONES.
Anonymous, 21 Sep 2019Lol for the CEO. Keep away from huawei products we are already aware about your false adverti... moreMost companies including Samsung advertised their phones in the same way in the past, and they are not doing it any more after all the backlash.
Anonymous, 21 Sep 2019Then why did Huawei lower their sales forecast ??Because the Mate lineup might be good enough to sell even without Google services, but not their other phones. The Y line and the P-Smart lines most likely will be put on hiatus. and in case you haven't noticed, Honor hasn't made any noise since the Honor 9x came out.
HxH, 21 Sep 2019So as far as I can get this is how Chinese OEM are positioned: Xiaomi - Affordable devices ... moreI stopped reading your comment the moment you mentioned that Huawei has ties to the CCP and that their hardware has backdoors. Don't come in here stating stuff as facts when not even the USA government has been able to provide proof of it. You'd save some face if you just plainly admitted you hate them because they are Chinese and they are catching up to Apple/Samsung.
