Namelesss, 21 Sep 2019The Mate 30 series is not that impressive, and the price should have been lower to incite more... moreEspecially considering it features a 1080p, which funnily enough no tech sites mention (they are paid by Huawei ofcourse), and no new high end cores, but only 2 high end cores from last generation, according to Huawei to save battery (but in reality because of the ban).. I have always liked Huawei, and have owned 4 phone from them, but thats over. They used to be good value, but its just old news and even overpriced.. I mean 1000 Euro for a 1080p panel ?!?!

I checked both Huawei and apple store on Taobao website yesterday. Huawei sold millions of their phones a month, while apple only thousands. I think in China alone they can sell more than 20M of mate 30s

Also, wasn't the idea of custom ROMs/rooting/bootloader unlock was generated 'because' of the freedom to remove bloatware as we please, as the 'owner" of devices?
It's risky if you don't know what you're doing. If you do...not so much.
And what are you going to do when the precious vendor stops issuing software updates?
unlocked BL/ Customiztion is a long running staple of Android realm. It's anything but a 'fail'.
