Google Market, Google Shop, Google Zone, Google Whatever... but Google Play??? So stupid...

What the hell is wrong with google?
I upgraded market and music on my N1 to play and I see only the icons being changed and nothing fency in the UI or anywhere else yet the apps are now almost 3 times the size of previous version(2.xx - 6.xx) and the worst part you can't move them to SD card! This is just lame.

Very rightly said that Google Play Icon is very similar to that of Sony's PlayNow. But then I dont think if they will sue google for this. We all know the obvious reason...:)

Today afternoon the market app got replaced with an app named "play shop"
its still the same old Android market, a lot of paid apps are available on 50% discount

i think Sony will sue Google Play Store because Sony has trademark for Play Now Store which is very very similar and also the play icon

Even though everything is same as iTunes and iCloud , efforts made by google are good because finally they understood how good it is to create an entirely new eco system by connecting all services into one single place.
Like google plus integration , youtube-gmail account inegration etc.
Google is making good eco system with android , and good services like google search , cloud etc.

As the article says it's only US customers who will get all the Google Play services available to them. Customers from Canada, UK, Australia and Japan will get a combo of two services such as apps&movies or apps&music. The rest of the world will only have apps as they did before the name change when it was called Android Market. So for people outside those before mentioned countries they only get a name change from Android Market to Google Play. That's it!....for now.
