Jmtm, 05 Oct 2019One plus thinks they are apple and Samsung Look at the price of their phones and this cheap ... morePeople would buy a OnePlus phone over Samsung, iPhone, and pixel because it's a better phone than those three while also being cheaper. I agree that the TV really needs some work though.

One plus thinks they are apple and Samsung
Look at the price of their phones and this cheap looking tv

Why would anyone buy their phone over iPhone galaxy and pixel?
Why should anyone buy this tv over Samsung or LG?

Get out of your huddle and face reality, one plus
Or your will go out of business

Kevin T, 05 Oct 2019I think GSMARENA IS NOOB in terms of Tv review no measurable metrics no nothing this is mo... moreWe don’t need metrics. Just the uneven backlighting, blooming, and haloing are enough to say this is not any different than entry level samsung tvs.

Great review Gsmarena team, I was quite interested in the OnePlus TV's but man this sure is underwhelming for this particular price bracket Sony and Samsung models are far far better, just bringing new technology but not implementing it well won't help you sell at such price. Also companies like Xiaomi, TCL etc offer quite good offering at just quarter of the price so OnePlus really needs to up their game.

stanley77, 05 Oct 2019So pls can You tell me what is better choice Q-Led 2019 models from Samsung or this Oneplus TV... moreGo with Samsung's. By all means Samsung may be the panel provider for OnePlus and they keep their best panels for themselves. And with what this review says, Sony and Samsung are better products for same money.

If you are going to price your products at 70k and 100k range you should be able to bring a product that match or surpass the competing models at that price range not at your Chinese competitors who dwell under 50k range. Think OP got totally wrong in bringing subpar TV(for the price and according to this review) at 100k where Sony, Samsung and LG rule roost with their allround superior TVs.

Kinda expensive, a recently bought a LG tv 108cm 4k smart for 350euro and it's pretty damn good, I don't see the point of buying at this point a 500+ euro tv, they pretty much are the same.

Finally a sensible and unbiased review. I purchased mine on launch day and was very disappointed with it's performance (Everything mentioned in this article) but thanks to Amazon I'm returning my TV back. Since it's their first TV I'm not gonna be hard on them. Maybe 2020 Q2 will have all improvements and useful features and not Sliding Speakers or pop up camera. I'm getting LG C9 instead.

Hello GSMArena Team

A heartfelt thank you for making this review. Excellent job done and I really suggest you start reviewing TVs (there is a Moto 65 in 4K TV too...)
The review tells us exactly what’s wrong objectively instead of just saying subjective things like “ the picture quality is good “ or “ the viewing angles are good” and so on. Really helps consumers to arrive at a right decision.

Again, thank you and keep it up!!!

Duck of death, 05 Oct 2019Ah, they've added the prices now, or it wasn't visible on the mobile... That's a lot of money... moreYeah that's a lot, considering that for the Q1P, you can get a 55" Q80R in my country, which has a few advantages over the Q1P like native 120Hz framerate (all 2019 QLEDs do except the 49" models) and much improved HDR performance among others.

This device really feels like a Q50R sold by a third party. (There's no Q50R though. Only Q60R. Under that are regular, non-QLED TVs like the RU8000)

ProJames-CHM, 05 Oct 20191000 and 1400$, the latter is for the Pro model being reviewed here. That's the Indian pricing... moreAh, they've added the prices now, or it wasn't visible on the mobile...
That's a lot of money for what seems to be the budget variant of the Samsung QLED display!

Performance wise this TV is let down by its spec sheet: no local dimming, only 60 hz panel, no image processor plus underwhelming CPU, GPU coupled with just 2gb RAM and 8gb storage. Considering all these, they can share all kinds of features, HDR, blah blah blah, on paper they sound nice but i don't buy it
