Of course Samsung could atop all this if they would just provide a release date. Considering we are only 3 weeks of the end of Q1, which is when they promised the updates for the S2 and the Note, I don't think that is an unreasonable expectation. Poor management of people's expectations and hence their perception is the issue here. I am fed up with this becuase it is all rumours, denials and counter rumours. Just one bit of firm information would be good to stop all this. Promising late and delivering early will leave a good perception, the opposite seems to be going on here. Granted the leaks don't help but at the end of the day this is all about pereception to the end user who is waiting.

What about owners of Samsung's so called "golden child" the Nexus S and its variants? A Google phone supposedly guaranteed priority updates? Consider yourselves fortunate!

I should have stuck with Apple, and upgraded to the latest iPhone4! I seriously regret my decision...

According to the T3 site amongst others this is a rumour and has been denied by Samsung Head Office. which is such a shame because we GS2 users seem to have been waiting for so long for this update since it's release on the Nexus.
