yham, 11 Mar 2012yeah but just reinstall the stock rom if you have minor problem with the phone (hardware) and ... moreHow do you do that if the screen has died, for example, or maybe the USB connector?? You may not be able to flash back to s stock ROM in some circumstances.
well, the ICS update is postponed, i think sammy just screwed up!!
I have Iphone, Ipad and Galaxy S II. I am ready to ditch the Galaxy for good. It is so painful to wait for so long and no update from Samsung when the update is going be available, I see they say it is available but no where to be found. Iphone and Ipad it is such a breeze to update to a new IOS. It is high time Samsung come to the party and also focus on the existing customers. Apple is not my first choice but I think Apple and Microsoft have one solid foundation going forward with no segregated platforms. I have experience with windows from 2004 and ditched them for their lousy update procedure. I moved to Android from version 1.6 and now 2.3. What a nightmare with their process of upgrades. I think I will keep Apple and Microsoft for now. Maybe Galaxy Nexus could be a third choice. Samsung and the rest of Android family what out people will get tired soon and your sales will tumble just like what happened to Microsoft. It could also be the benefit to Microsoft since they have woken up and realize what needs to be done i.e. one platform for all devices. The sale might be exponentially increasing they can tumble the same way.
I installed the latest version of KIES as samsung said and updated my phone. But the update was 2.3.6. The wait continues....
Guys no clue and confirmation about update yet.
The FOTA feature in GS2 says no update available. For instant checking use the phone software update feature.. but still no good news about the firmware update :(
guys yes we all like ICS but ICS doesnt have wings,I mean there are a few improvements, faceunlock will be boring after a few days, and andrid beam Wtf I must find another Ics phone to transfer something,in other way every one use bluetooth..but I still want to put Ics in my Gs2 but is better to wait for Samsung a little more and to have a stable Ics
I have beta ICS and just to tell you Android 2.3.6 is more stable, all other for user is same. Some visual changes. Do not expect to much...
Update: Samsung used its Twitter account to deny the statement of its website
is it available or not ? I checked and didn't see update 4.0 for my SGS2 so far... please tell me if someone did it..
Want to go with iphone.. just because of bad services of samsung.. & its updates are coming very slow... we are waiting for its ics update for sgs2.. but it is taking too much time...
