No headphone - good
No old or charger from last model - good
Have new type charger - good
Have last version cable - good
Well, To be honest didn't expect much but man!.
The lack of the jack is already enough deal breaker for me, now they didn't even include a adapter or pair of earbuds .. i mean what the heck Google. if you were serious about ewaste then stop selling your very "expensive and profitable" Bluetooth earbuds!. this is clearly just to force you to shell out more to get the accessories that must've gotten in the box. Apple Strategy is being copy-past here. :(
Wow Google and your marketing for the new phone is really pathetic coz you won't even include the necessary basics in your retail packaging and yet you wonder why your sales is not what it should be or rather what it could be.For such a huge conglomerate corporation you guys come across as cheapskates and yet all you do is take and take and not give anything back to the loyals fanboys you have which you guys are losing already to your competition by the way.
You get no earbuds and also you don't even get an adapter...
Also, the base model is only 64GB (compared to 128GB on even Samsung midrange phones) and yet it has so high price?!?!
Don't get me wrong, it has an exceptionally good camera, but that's about it.
This article incorrectly states that the 3rd generation Pixel was the first without a 3.5mm headphone jack. In fact, the Pixel 2 was the first Pixel without a 3.5mm jack. Only the original Pixel had such a jack. And of course, the Pixel 3A reintroduced the 3.5mm jack, so the article is doubly wrong about the 3rd generation Pixels.
Absolutely dreadful, I mean why you should consider this phone, when is offering nothing better than competition?
"Since the 3rd gen model was the first blah blah"
Am I missing something? The Pixel 2 didnt have a headphone jack either... And why would I need the adapter or headphones when they already came with my Pixel 3 etc. Got plenty of those adapters laying around & I barely use them.
T M, 14 Oct 2019Premium price, mid range experience. Google is embarrassing at this point. Since when google offered “premium” experience? The Pixel phones have always been a cash grab, to make profits off their own reference “Nexus” phones, while offer nothing additional to consumers in return.

seriously, for the price and they dont even include a mere earbuds? I get all them efforts to reduce electronic waste, but still why don't you reduce the price? this is straight up daylight robbery
Its a shame this phone has great potential but google managed to mess this up yet again with its bad decision makers and greed
Anonymous, 14 Oct 2019This is actually a good thing. Just use one of the adapters and earbuds you have lying in that... moreYes, it is great news that less accessories are delivered which not everyone needs to avoid electronic waste. But the phone misses a 3.5mm jack so that I cannot connect my high-end Sennheiser earbud to it. I will not buy an adapter, rather I will not buy this phone. Samsung Note 10 does not have 3.5mm jack, so I will not buy that phone either. In a dance lesson the bluetooth connection broke down, stuttering at its worst, and the teacher had to look for another phone. A 3.5mm connector was laying on the table, but if the phone does not have a jack... bad luck!

The production cost of those modern phones are very low, itÂ’s really strange how they charge premium price, but not giving you nothing extra to excite the customer, they supposed to provide decent earphones, dongle, fast charger and one case, only car charge should be separate for that price, for all brands.
