Or all "TouchWiz".
Changes in design do not change this fact.
Technically "Grace UX" was still TouchWiz, that is, "TouchWiz Grace UX", just like TouchWiz Nature UX.

My point remains no matter what they call it though.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2019I don't see why a budget phone should get an less updates then a higher priced one.
Or to p... moreBecause the manufacturers need to spend money and energy at testing and updating their software (TouchWiz, Sense, EMUI MIUI and so on) and drivers.
The exeception to this rule of course is Android One devices those are guranteed updates for at least 2 years, this is because these phones is running Stock Android so only minor tweaks is needed before the updates can be sent out.
Constant updates and fixes in the code are making software even more complicated. Maybe programmers should step up their game and stop making shoddy products that can break on a whim. Oh who am I kidding, planned obsolence has always been the way to go.

Or to put it another way, why should you have to pay more money for the phone for updates?
Tash, 24 Oct 2019Hey,
i would like to know when does android 10 come to LG devicesHello
Sadly, I don't think LG has published any list with dates.
We can only assume the the following LG phones are expected to receive Android 10:
LG G8 ThinQ
LG V50 ThinQ
LG G7 One
But when? Not sure. They were slow to update from 8 to 9, so hopefully they will improve this time.
With Sony, Motorola, HTC and LG you normally get 1 major update and 1 year security update. This is not good enough !
Huawei and Xiaomi are often a bit better, with some Huawei flagship devices getting 2 major updates and 2 years of security updates..
It seems that Oneplus and Google takes the lead on Android, with up to 3 year old devices getting 3 major Android updates.
g6 user, 24 Oct 2019 and lg will be last one for sureThis is so true sadly
Anonymous321, 24 Oct 2019The problem with android is that even if you paid premium for a flagship device, you only one ... moreLol, no need for luck, you've got Pie, & you'll definitely get 10 & 11, & it wouldn't surprise me if you also get 12.
As I've said many times before, OEM's should give 3 major OS updates to their flagships & 5 years of Security patches.
Kudos to those that do, & those that don't should be named & shamed.
Time will tell ;)
I have a OnePlus 6T on Pie. I understand we are supposed to get A10 within a month or so. Kodos to OnePlus.
g6 user, 24 Oct 2019 and lg will be last one for sureNah its still nothing compared to HTC after the android 8 update while even the HTC u12+ is project treble ready it took 1 year to roll out previous years update with so much issue during implementation too.
