Anonymous, 15 Mar 20123.7 for carrying in front pants pocketAgree. People who want a 4.5 inch phone must have very little else in their pants :)
I think it is true. Having work with 3.5 display I think it is time for me to move on to larger handsets for the said reasons - movies, video, browsing, some-gaming.
For serious productive and creative visual works though I cannot see any of new devices offer anything solid. Notes offer it but it is way out of the league for me at the moment. So for using the smartphone as SmartToy, I will pick 4+ size of screen. And I am eyeing at Nokia 808.
I love my 4.3 screen on htc inspire 4g. I think is the perfect size for watch all stuff
wow, 90% of people are too bigger morons to realise that the screen will appear bigger of you move the phone closer :)
It's about resolution and screen clarity people (unless you have fat fingers)
4.7 would be great. What's important is size of phone though, mroe than size of display
4 - 4.3 inches is the most preferable. Bigger than that size is treated as tablet. It wont fit in your pocket easily. Its such a pain to carry it.
5.3" is perfect haha. Never regretted getting the Galaxy Note. Fit for everything - movies, browsing, office files and reading.
I think the perfect size is between 3.7 and 4 inches. I am planning on buying the HTC One S (it has a 4.3 inch screen) but I would gladly pick a 4 inch version if one was available...but it's not. With the same specs, I don't think I can find a smaller phone...too bad.
My Motorola Atrix has perfect dimensions, 118mm x 63.5 mm, however, the bezel could be a lot smaller giving room for maybe a 4.3" screen instead of current 4".
Imma Galaxy Nexus user, 4.65 for me is jus perfect watching HD movies.. 4.3 and 4.0 didnt make much difference.. 4.65 really impressed me... is not that difficult to keep in pockets.. holding in hand is most wat i like. showing off a big screen phone i have to those iUsers.. hahaha xD
