Apple took one look at this thing and was like "nope no support for you!" then a few months later they will unveil their copy of this! OwO
HAHA they couldn't even make them look comfortable in the pictures lol
I want this product, but not at this price. I'll wait until it drops below $70.
Only cases for Razer Phone 2, S10+ and P30 Pro ? That's a very limited choice, I hope they will make more cases for other phones very soon !
Haha.
Even windows comunity is far more popuular than the bloatware by Ifruit.
It would be awesome if someone created controllers like these, but make them adjustable to fit any phone. Smartphones, even cheaper ones, could be amazing emulator machines for so many different consoles, as long as the controls were right.
atornNEY, 30 Oct 2019lawsuit is coming lolHow?
Nintendo copied the concept from another company. That company sued Nintendo and lost. I doubt Razer is in any trouble. What about the implications for those third-party Switch controllers then?

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2019So an essentially better switch but with worse games?Well I mean they most likely work with emulators.
Kangal, 30 Oct 2019It's like a better quality version of the Nintendo JoyCons. But it is made for Android, and... moreOr, save 50-70 more and get a switch lite, which should be on sale for 150 odd this black Friday anyways
DUDE are those joycon analogs? They are by far the WORST analog sticks ever created in any gaming console, realllllly hope they didn't just use the same parts!
Only noobs would play serious games on a smartphone. If you're a real gamer, get a Switch. Also this is such a blatant rip-off of Joy Con.
Make one for the Mate 20 X and then you can take my money.
imparanoic, 30 Oct 2019Ipega it's actually quite poorly designed, feels very cheap as well, iffy d pad and very clunk... moreFully agree.
Have an iPega 9055. While buttons on this thing are okay-ish, the D-pad is the worst I ever saw. Finger fatigue is assured. Also the analog sticks are weird. Technically it could be used with PC in wire/wireless mode (which is cool), the fighter jet roll in ace combat 5 emulation is lazy and imprecise. Battery life was okay though.
IpsDisplay, 30 Oct 2019Better options available with support for wider range of phone/tablet sizes like the ipegaIpega it's actually quite poorly designed, feels very cheap as well, iffy d pad and very clunky feeling buttons, Lacks responsiveness of a real console controller as well.
It's like a better quality version of the Nintendo JoyCons.
But it is made for Android, and is compatible with practically all phones. I especially like how the Dpad and Action buttons are in the centre of the gamepad. It puts the joysticks above, so its more comfortable to use, and less instance for accidental button pressing.
Looks fairly compact as well, take both joycons out, and put them both together into one pocket. Then stow the phone independently in another pocket. No longer need to have a backpack or a purse to take your gaming outdoors.
There's some special cases for the Razer Phone 2, Samsung S10+, Samsung Note9 and Huawei P30 Pro. They might make new cases in the future, or open up a CAD so that other manufacturers or people could 3D print or make their own cases for other devices. Heck, it might happen independently by an enthusiast. Or it might be the same Slide mechanism as the Nintendo Switch, so extra compatibility might be out there.
It's pretty expensive at US $99, but honestly, it might be worth it if it's a one-time purchase to enjoy with your phone, laptop, console, TV, etc etc, compared to a slew of cheap Chinese controllers that are lower quality and aren't pocketable.
So an essentially better switch but with worse games?
What an obvious copy.
