Honestly credit goes to Xiaomi for updating even phones that are more than 2 years old such as the Mi 6 which was originally launched on miui8, which means that this its 3rd major MIUI update.

I also received it on my Mi Mix 2, which is based on Android 9. But I'm afraid that's all about it, and we're not going to get Android Q, just regular MIUI updates with security batches.

Unlocking bootloader or rooting definitely voids the warranty. Applies to all manufacturers. Even flashing between CN and global official ROM void the warranty.

Then I got bootloader unlocked, which definitely voided the warranty, but I don't care anymore as I'm past warranty period already.
Now, what I want to know is if I'd still receive regular MIUI updates like before, or will I be stuck with the last one I got.
