so max 3 is getting android 10 considering miui 11 is based off of it....pretty shocking since it looked like xiaomi had all but abandoned the max series.

This is only China Devices , Global Devices have different schedule and thsi article is not clear

My Mi Max 2(China version) upgraded to MIUI 11 already.But UI got new not OS,still Android 7.1.1.And I was very disappointed the security batch not up to date(September or October).Why!?

Are rooted and bootloader-unlocked phones still eligible for OTA updates?
And before you tell me, yes! I refused to read that damn long terms and policy before unlocking and rooting my phone.
What I know is that root and unlocked bootloader will void the warranty of my phone (its been a year now and my phone is no longer covered by that anyway).

Poco f1 India got miui 11. I'm using it. No complaints so far... I like the auto dark mode enable @ night feature.
