Face ID is annoying. I tried holding my cousin's iPhone X and the screen kept waking up to attempt unlocking his phone, which is irritating. That's why I prefer the good old fingerprint unlock on my phone, but I haven't had any experience with in-screen fingerprint unlock.

Well i find this result strange, having previously used android phones with various placements of the fingerprint sensor and now having switched to an iPhone with face ID i have to say i love face ID as when I have pulled the phone out of my pocket and brought it up to my face it is already unlocked and I just have to swipe up, much more convenient than having to find the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone, if I had to have a fingerprint sensor it would be at the front, but face id is best if you ask me as you don’t have shift your hand just to unlock the phone

Old back mounted FP reader is most convenient. The finger naturally falls on that when pulling phone out of pocket or lifting from table.

Today's world requires both technologies plus the need for iris scan.

This poll is faulty. Because not many people own secure face recognition capable phone like iPhone or Mate 20 PRO.

Ofc, fingerprint unlock is much more convenient.
I hope we will see much less notches in 2020.
