Are you sure this is a new feature? Because my 2017 J7 Pro running on Samsung Experience 8.1 has this feature.

Apparently, many users of older S series are not happy because certain features are not being updated to older phones. For a tech enthusiast who wants a constant feature update, S series is a big "NO" because of lack of long term updates. Anyways, I would love to try an S series phone one day. For now, I'm happy with my 2018 iPhone. :-)
