DaniD, 17 Nov 2019Instagram used to be the thing. Now it's just another platform full of the same BS as Facebook... morei use a mod app for instagram and it blocks ads so i just get pure timeline feed of what i want. makes it much more enjoyable.

Instagram used to be the thing. Now it's just another platform full of the same BS as Facebook. I used to like cars and earthscapes and home decor and my feed was an abundance of cool photos, now if I happen to like a car pic, it throws at me a bunch of crappy video quality flame throwing boyracers plus like a billion commercials.
I know it's free, but still, shame on you Instagram!

And this is why I have barely given TikTok my time, because I knew Facebook would integrate similar functionality into one of its apps, Instagram always being the first.
Facebooks has done a great job if taking what their competitors have and simply killing them off.ost companies still see Facebook and Instagram as the main parts of Social Media to invest their money into when advertising.

...And just like Vine, it sounds good on paper but in reality out of 100 'vines' you have 1 legit funny/original and the rest 99 are people either recycling old jokes in cringy way or have straight up Dunning–Kruger syndrome in terms of their sense of humor, but still get popular because there's a cute girl/guy in it.
