Recycle design from iPhone 11 and Samsung S8/S9
Install an old chipset. Way slower than A13 or even A12.
$100 increase for increasing storage options ($50 only for iPhone), already with stingy storage space. XL version even more expensive
Plastic build while iPhone is not from plastic
Not to mention there's al lot of bloatware and it steals personal data
You think you can insult Apple users, shame even Android isn't doing so well. Huawei? Residuals aren't looking good. Only standout is Samsung and OnePlus, maybe Xiaomi

But then these poor companies will go bankrupt if they can't make these people buu phones yearly so they seal them and incrementally increase capacity of batteries

... moreTo sum it up, slim down devices (including macbooks) then proceed to sell a bagful of accessories to make up for the lost ports/features.
And don't forget to solder the ssd and rams of macbooks for better chances of the user upgrading or buying a new one for unrepairability.
