Here is my honest opinion about mobile SoC's:
1. Apple Bionic
2. Qualcomm Snapdragon
3. HiSilicon Kirin
That's it. Exynos and MediaTek are awful in their design and performance. Peace. ✌️

Well, Xiaomi tried this and they understood it's better to just use Qualcomm, so ... good idea Oppo, release 3 phones every week, because that works, now build your own SoC, what can go wrong ?

hope they go the apple way and make the processors bigger, but does apple design its own architecture or they buy custom ones from ARM?

Samsung just left the custom chip business. I dont see how oppo can do better than samsung. Its gonna be a wastage of resources and manpower..if it happens at all.
