Mediatek learned from their past mistakes & now they deserve a second chance. If there is no competition in the industry, it'll be really bad for us as a consumer.

I'mPhone, 25 Nov 2019High hopes for MTK, not so much for Qualcomm and Samsung (Exynos)The SD865 will be out soon and likely will overtake this processor but yes mediatek seems getting too close for comfort. Hopefully they managed to control their heating issues they had before.

Apple creates partnership with other companies & then dump them when it acquired enough techs from those partners.
