So both companies are still at it by mirroring each other's features. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if they were being consumer-friendly, but the current trends in the market have made both companies rather consumer-hostile, and not a "good value" or "functional" the way they used to be before 2015.

I wish they would calculate screen size based on the amount that is flat... Grinds my gears, might as well put a screen all around and call it a 13 inch device. Leave aside my obvious bias, as I can't stand curved screens, I think it is still silly to measure the sides.

Glad I bought the S10e - my main reason for buying it was the compactness. For once I thought Samsung recognised that there's some consumers that wanted a smaller phone. It would appear that message has been lost on the S11e.

151 mm in height is NOT compact. Same people who said the Xperia 5 is compact. I actually think the S10e looks better and it's more compact being 8 mm shorter. I think the camera hump just makes the S11 look like another iPhone.
I'm just not into these glass sandwich slabs anymore. People should move onto foldables like the beautiful new Motorola Razr or wait for the Nintendo DS-like, Microsoft Surface Duo. Flip phones will be common again, so the design will get tiresome but at least something different compared to the slabs we've been getting in this decade.
This phone should have retained the S10e's size without any curves. IMO, 151mm is too tall to be considered 'compact' and it's the same height as my already 'tall' Redmi Note 4

I really dislike the placement of the camera. It looks super cheap somehow. They should have kept the placement from the S10 series.
