The USB 2.0 killed it for me...No one should include that anymore, not even on very affordable devices which this is clearly not at $500.
GMX, 26 Nov 2019Sure... when all they’re doing is copying Apple’s designs for the MacBook and iPad.Haha funny there were plenty of brands before apple.
For example Vega back in 1972 was first PC for people.
Like Motorola made first cell phone.
Alle did nothing just copied design and technology of someone else and pretended it as their own.
When comes to rights and shares apple always trying to act as an owner of that tech even if its true someone else did that long time before.

Guys this isnt supposed to be a macbook competitor, the matebook D line was always a budget line, just now it has some premium features
RealLifePhones, 25 Nov 2019USB 2.0 is this 2009? huawei really cut costs hard because they know patriots gonna buy it any... morejudging from where the ports are made, it might got to do with component, rather than financial.
You already have USB- C AND USB 3.0 on one side, along with HDMI. Where as other side is where USB 2.0 is along with 3.5mm, which would be older ports.
In all fairness, it is a decision that makes little sense, especially cost of USB 3.0 would not be much more than 2.0. So I doubt say this is financial decision. If you wanted to make money, you can always skip all ports.... have a single USB-C port and tell your customer to go buy USB hub
The design looks like a nice hybrid of MBP and Dell's XPS, but the battery capacity is simply disappointing for such large laptops, especially the 15 inch model. Honestly I wish they refreshed MateBook X lineup instead.
