LG was smart to introduce laser AF way back in 2014.
Anyway, It is good to see Samsung finally putting a flagship grade camera system on their upcoming flagships.
I seriously hope they replace that pathetic single LED flash with dual/quad LED flash as well. The flash they put on their phones is really dim and practically useless.

More important is a bigger fingerprint sensor under the screen. The one that they install on the note 10/ S10 are Teribble

Dual Pixel reduces actual pixel size. With 108MP, it's just not possible to fit DPAF into the pixels without seriously compromising low light.

1 and 5 use dual pixel.
I suppose they will use quad pixel, because imx686 has it.
Their sensor could have too.

I dont know if there is any limitation, but all Dual Pixel AF sensors for smartphones are 1/2.55" 12MP.
It is weird because this tech was created by Canon and they use on their large camera sensors.

S11PLUS 5G will be joining my Note10Plus, Note9, and OnePlus7Pro in March2020 can't wait.
Samsung Electronics will sweep 2020 just as they did 2019. Other android manufacturers are a sad joke.
