Samsung has shamelessly betrayed its consumers. It has always been against notch, and now uses it too. It has always been against withdrawing the 3.5mm input, and now it is withdrawing as well.

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2019Jack is gone my friend , deal with it....Audio jack is present in a lot of phones and recent flagships too. So the only one that must deal with the lack of audio jack is Samsung losing customers that want it in their phones.

there is a saying in my line of work: you can sell a piece of s....t as long as it is nicely packaged but not a piece of brilliant technology. reading the posts here... this saying is only overly confirmed...

Design is getting weirder. But feature wise also getting more powerful. I can forgive that. Not like if I own this phone I'm going to look at the back a lot. So it's fine.

That's more to do with the physics and there's not much technological advancement can help with here.

From that time frame, NO phone have that design.
Then the release of iPhone 11, Until now, TONS OF Squarish / rectangle phones pending to release or has released.
Now.. you see the power Samsung & Apple has over the rest? Samsung / Apple innovate, while the rest just COPIES.
Go back in time, see the first 'Notch phone' Essential or LG V10.. or even the LG X screen. Anybody copy those design?? NOOO. It only started the craze once Apple decided to go notch.
Now you know why people keep saying other companies keep copying Samsung and Apple.

No jack no buy. Why can't Samsung or maybe everyone add a Quad DAC for their headphone jack. Only LG did it and they should copy that, not remove it entirely. Audio should be just as important as photos.
