And that applies to the rest of the phones quality as well.
So batterylife isn't degrading any faster than in other phones I owned.

Also, even for a 4000mah battery device it doesn't have longevity unlike Huawei's mid-range phones, not because of UI, but maybe because of battery quality like you said.

Once customers get a bad phone from Xiaomi they will never want to buy it again.
Well, what is better then installing some spyware arround your House too? I mean, why would you only have a disposable Smartphone spying on you daily when you can have IoT's spying your Home? Daaa!

From 100% to 95%, it dr... moreHi, this is true. I have mi 9t. After the update i encountered the same problem. Faster charging, faster draining.. Before the update my phone lasts a day and half. I use my phone for gaming (mobile l*g*nds), a lot of browsing, calls and netfl*xing.
Really hope they'll fix it.
Their phones are no longer the cheapest with the best specs around. Had to go with a Realme instead
Companies will usually try to sell more expensive stuff when this happens
Which presents a very good opportunity for other phone makers to snatch up the market whose expectations got betrayed
This is actually a very positive piece of news for Xiaomi! IoT was their intended big picture, not just smartphone.

Had used the note 5 pro and impact for over a year and k20 pro the last few months, never encountered charging speed issue. Also if you are using cheap 3rd party charger with multi port, there is high tendency to overheat and damage the charger.

I can definitely say that their Redmi series lineups are not doing great because of battery life issues.
Heck, my Redmi Note 8 doesn't last longer unlike last 2 weeks! Hopea for the battery issue fixes.

From 100% to 95%, it dropped within 20 minutes even though the phone is new.
At the beginning, the charging speed is quite fast. But after using for 2 months, the speed suddenly becomes slow. Reasons unknown.
