They said that almost in every year
Finally Apple coming down from its high perch. Realised their high pricing won't work anymore it seems. They have only their successful budget offerings XR & 11 to brag.
Remember that UK network O2 all but confirmed that the 2020 iPhones would have 5G support with the details of a trade-in deal on their 5G contracts. Vodafone are now doing the same thing with iPhone 11 contracts, too.
It's not if the iPhone 12 range has 5G, it's whether it's top-to-bottom. Honestly, I think it might be.
How can a report and might be in the same sentence?

People's memories are short. This is due to the Trump administration effort to Apple's Tim Cook to fast-track 5G deployment.
With the success on iPhone 11 series, I bet they will succeed even more in the future... Just don't fail your iOS launches ever again.
Oh my.. Samsung may double down at this news...
Good strategy for them although long overdue. Google should follow suit. Release two flagship Pixels per year in different sizes & SoCs and two Pixel a-series in different sizes and SoCs.
Mobile is already saturated though. More people will stop upgrading their phones well into the next decade. Time to find a different hobby.
