This is great news. I bought a pair of Galaxy Buds to compare to Apple's AirPods. I liked the Galaxy Buds so much more than the AirPods that I have three sets of them now.

I noticed that the AirPods emit a high-pitched (coil whine?) noise when they go into sleep mode (when not streaming audio). After using them all day I feel like I've been to a rock concert and that my hearing has been damaged, so I stopped using them once I got the Galaxy Buds. I also like that the Galaxy Buds have much better noise isolation, even without active noise cancellation. They are also much easier to clean.

I am really looking forward to ordering these when they are released!
