For $400, it's an overpriced piece of junk, given it's old low-end SD675 cpu.
You can get the Redmi Note 8 for much less than half ($138 according to Gsm price search), which has pretty much the same cpu, and it has even more features, as it adds a macro camera and a depth sensor. Camera is certainly not worse either.

You're paying $240 more just for the popup and theoretically faster charging. Practically, charging is even slower than the Redmi Note 8, because you have to buy an additional charger, and that one won't be cheap.

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2019I'm not sure, but don't Mi MIX series phones have US bands as well? They do and that's why the US is longing for a Mi Mix 4 but if it's the Alpha, screw it.

I'm still highly considering to get this phone if its sold in my country, despite the dated SoC and non-Amoled screen. NFC, full screen, microSD support, new 64mp cam & 45w support is great combo in my book.
From its launch, a product usually will take 1-3 months to hit the shelves in my country and city (for comparison, iPhone 11 trio officially available only from 2 days ago). We'll see if within that time other OEM can provide better product(s) with similar or lower price.

Like I said, only needing 4-5 bands, it does not kill the manufacturer to add them on the phones; even for the little bit in sales. I was going to get the Realme X2 Pro because it's FANTASTIC for the price but it's been sold out for quite some time.

Would it kill these brands to just ADD the US bands anyway? Huawei seems to do that and they've been doing it with the Mate and P series since the Mate 10. Despite not being sold in the US, people still buy them online.

Why waste time making a 'US version' of the phones when, similar to Huawei, OnePlus, and even the Realme X2 Pro (which was finally smart enough to do it), you can just add the US bands anyway and see how many AT&T and T-Mobile customers get them?
