Treating Europe like second hand market? Switch to another brand.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019Huawei and Apple should use Snapdragon too. Lol, Apple are years ahead of Snapdragon in performance with their A chipsets, that would be stupid decision to do, graphically and in cpu performance Apple chipsets are unbeatable, wake up man :)

Looks like I'll be changing from a Samsung to another marque (not Apple) then.

in other words : customers would gain their trust on or return to exynos once samsung change GPU from ARM's to AMD's

You should know that by only fixing the Custom CPU design Exynos will be competing chip like the S7 days

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019Huawei and Apple should use Snapdragon too. Yeah, but in wonderland. Apple doesn't need to use other SoC than its own, since they are powerful and efficient. The same can be said of Huawei. Their Kirin SoCs are turning out pretty good. But Samsung has been losing in the SoC race with Qualcomm ever since the SD835.

Samsung has two choices: improve their chips, or shut down their SoC division for good.

So, will Galaxy S11 phones that are sold in Europe have different lettering on the packaging indicating that it's vastly inferior and slower version? Overwise, Samsung will be misleading and lying to customers. Most Youtubers and Tech sites are American, they review US version of devices. Europeans will watch MKBHD or Linus review and think "oh yeah it's a great phone, I'll buy it" but actually in the box they'll get a crappy slow inefficient Exynes version. This is disgusting business practice by Samsung.

I remember Exynos being the more battery efficient chip back in 2016 with the S7 edge. More efficient but weaker GPU. Still, the UI felt smoother on Exynos. Didn't draw as much heat. I guess Snapdragon has been winning out ever since the 835 in 2017. And for Americans, we need Qualcomm for our 4G bands.
