It has a Unisoc (formerly Spreadtrum) SC7731E, 2017, 32 bit, quad-core 28nm SoC with ARM Mali-T820 GPU. This detail is missing in GSM Arena specs list.
why do they not have it on Android q?
Ax, 11 Dec 2019But, Xiaomi Redmi 8a is 83$, and it's better in every way than this Nokia, or even Nokia 2.3. ... moreYeah, for sure it has better specs, no doubt about it, but $30 for you may seem nothing, but in my country (and also in Kenya), it is a deal breaker...
Ax, 14 Dec 2019Every phone with price tag of 60$, have better spec, and screen, than this, even Lumia 650 2-3... moreSlowly i am questioning your ability to think, i am not going to aks for your age, but read again, more then once what i wrote and try to figure it out what i am talking about. As for used phones that have no support anymore (pretty much have a dead system) is kind of normal to be cheap, even so, would you buy one as your daily driver? I won't, and not because arrogant, i actually am enviroment aware. Just that i have enough experience with old and already used devices, most of them are not going to hold a year, as the battery is the first to go down the hill, sometimes even if the device is new. Never saw Nokia 6.1 plus being so cheap, where is that? I would buy one today...
I don't understand why people are bashing on Nokia for their price/specs ratio. Did you all read the article? It's meant for Kenya! (emphasis on Kenya/Africa). This is a blessing for poor people, where some of them never even heard of smartphones. Think/read wisely before you speak people! (I'm talking about myself too)
Carol, 13 Dec 2019Name a device for 60$ with better internals. Xiaomi is not it. And yes, to receive a shipping ... moreEvery phone with price tag of 60$, have better spec, and screen, than this, even Lumia 650 2-3 years old, phone with Windows, and no support, have way better, at least HD Amoled screen. Simple question, why you would order Xiaomi phone from US to EU, Xiaomi is Chinese brand not US brand, maybe, that's a reason why you pay shipping, if you order from EU warehouse, or even from China, it says with big letters 'free shipping", from EU WH paid custom duty, and not only Xiaomi, you can order HMD Global Oy phone with Nokia logo on it, let say Nokia 630 for about 70$, Nokia 6.1 Plus for 100$ (in 4/64GB combo), and because of that i think that this C1 is not good, for anybody.
Ax, 12 Dec 2019Maybe only you nees to pay for shipping 20$, if you wanna buy Xiaomi phone :p And you talk ab... moreP.s i am not in affiliated with nokia nor HMD in any way. I just said what i have to say.

And yes, to receive a shipping from lets say, USA- Europe it reaches mostly 15 to 20 euros. I doubt shipping to any country in Africa will be any cheapper.
Carol, 12 Dec 2019Xiaomi does not pay for shipping, also builds their devices cheapper, because well, cheap. Add... moreMaybe only you nees to pay for shipping 20$, if you wanna buy Xiaomi phone :p
And you talk about cheap? MediaTek low low end is not cheap, TFT screen with resolution from 2008 is not cheap? Camera quality like calculator camera is not cheap? HMD name is not cheap?.. Why don't you just stop about that, or you're only reseller of HMD phones in EU so acting like that. Just say, i will biy one HMD phone, but not this C1, for sure :D
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019Well, seems that the specialization of HMD is low-end bricks like this one and the HMD Nokia 2... moreAnd basicaly way more expensive, arround 60$ is pretty much... none of them! As for LTE, do you understand where they are sold? If 3G works their, it is actually a blessing, so stop acting smart when all you show is ignorance.
Ax, 11 Dec 2019But, Xiaomi Redmi 8a is 83$, and it's better in every way than this Nokia, or even Nokia 2.3. ... moreXiaomi does not pay for shipping, also builds their devices cheapper, because well, cheap. Add another 20$ for shipping and see who buys it. Nokia costs that much at the local store, which i find so the price is ok. Some people do not understand marketing, but this device, minding all the involved payments, is actually cheap. Also minding the fact that in Kennya a lot of people do not have money even for this device, why would they pay 20€ plus shipping more for another?
I believe, anything less than 3GB RAM 32GB ROM, will destroy brand reputation.
SK, 11 Dec 2019Nokia 2.3 is 36000 ngn in Nigeria, the price will fall with time. The price will fall on time when they're about to release C1.2 LOL
Ax, 11 Dec 2019But, Xiaomi Redmi 8a is 83$, and it's better in every way than this Nokia, or even Nokia 2.3. ... moreBetter to compare it with Redmi 7A as that have 5.45inch screen too and probably at the same price. Has same hardware as 8A but isnt that big of a tablet as A8 is.
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019That aren't available in kenya. In africa phones are pricier than the rest of the worldCan you buy from online shops like aliexpress? If you can, maybe thats a better solution, you can get decent phone for 100$ (Redmi 8 in global version is 101$ for example..)
Vitaliano G., 11 Dec 2019Yes... Have you been in Kenya lately. And not only Kenya, there are a lot of countries where p... moreBut, Xiaomi Redmi 8a is 83$, and it's better in every way than this Nokia, or even Nokia 2.3. At least it have Qualcomm octa core processor made in 12nm, 439.. I don't get why HMD doing this, if they can't make phone with at least similar spec and price, maybe is better to return licence to owner.
What's the point of launching this phone ??
Are they not tired of releasing low-middle class phones ?
Come on Nokia. Except you are out of $$$ and you cannot risk a flagship investment, then I understand.
