That used to kill a lot of phones back in the day when I was in the business.
So much that phones got small pieces of cardboard inside that would change color if exposed to moisture
Guys, we all understand that phones running Android OS have way better hardware than iOS running devices. Therefore, this comparison cannot be conducted.
Saying that Mate 3- pro already killed Iphone 11 pro max has no meaning, as they do not run the same iOS.
Iphone is bought just for iOS.
karoko, 12 Dec 2019And your preference will change once Huawei put punch hole with their flagship phones. Nice.No my preference will not change because Huawei will do punch hole lol. Doesn't matter which brand is doing them, I don't prefer them.
And I'm not even considering Huawei phones until they will be guaranteed full google services back.
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019Blame Huawei for copying :D They can carry on copy Apple with the ugly NotchHuawei is punishing Samsung and Apple big time
Anonymous, 12 Dec 2019Samsung fans never supported the removal of the headphone jack. And they look for other options. Removing features and introducing impractical features is no progress. Curved screen, no microSD slot, no 3.5mm jack, battery cannot be changed, punch hole or notch, aspect ratio not 16:9 (video with black stripes). A bezel is fine, and a popup camera would be nice as well (privacy, usage of resources, quality for selfies). The IP68 is not important for me: You may not put such phones into saltwater or chloride water anyway. I still enjoy my Samsung S5 LTE-A with Snapdragon 805, and unfortunately I cannot upgrade for the reasons mentioned. Companies know how to help with sustainability, nice move!
AnonD-901275, 12 Dec 2019Just like samsung mocked the removal of the headphone jack :DSamsung fans never supported the removal of the headphone jack.

You don't like curved screen doesn't mean everybody doesn't like it. Same for notch vs pop-up vs hole or IPS vs OLED or glass back vs metal back vs plastic back. Every design have its pro and con, and everyone has different liking.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019S11 + killer.
Mate 30 pro already killed iphone pro max ....hahahaaaYou mean S11+ clone? LOL.
Now that Huawei is using curved screen, fanboys are suddenly in favor of this type of display and forgot how they mocked Samsung about it. lol
Shady69, 11 Dec 2019when will these companies understand that people don't like curved screens ffs I never had problem with Samsung's curved screens because I'm using case just to protect these expensive and nowadays fragile gadgets.
But what personally I really don't like is - punch hole. I prefer small notch or tiny bazel over the punch hole.

Chinese needs at least 5 yrs to make any useful stable OS and they aren't ready. They say that can do it without US and google but they get just good calculator instead good smartphone without Google services
Is Google Play Services available on Huawei's yet (without installing it through shady 3rd party websites that have to have MDM management control over your phone)?
Shui8, 11 Dec 2019There also rumors P40 will using graphene battery at 5500mah & 120Hz display. Hopefully... moreSaw the same rumour... But graphene batteries seem to be the advance that's always a couple of years away. Iirc, Samsung we're doing well with the tech, but still have not managed to bring it to market. Makes me think it is still a couple of years away.
Shady69, 11 Dec 2019when will these companies understand that people don't like curved screens ffs I agree. What irks me is likely the thought process. I can completely see the meetings, and imagine how they assume the curved screen is a selling factor. In truth, it is the same to me as Porsche putting a potato in the glove box of every new car. Then assuming that the potatoes are the reason they sell well. If the flagship phones only come with a curved screen, then I buy it inspite of the curve,.not because of.

People are tired from Google's snooping.
