S... moreActually india has a far wider and larger 4G network than most countries in the world. 5G will also be faster and wider than almost all countries, except perhaps China. Europe and US still have pretty lousy mobile networks, and the prices of data is still mostly ridiculous.

Generally Samsung doesn't use more than 2 types of SoC for midrange. So, There is 980 . Why would they use mediatek ? They will use mediatek in lower end phone. And they will release it only when 5G is stablished in developing counties like India. That might take 3 to 5 years.
Samsung might use 1 low end SoC by mediatek near future fo EU market but I don't see a 5G low end mediatek chipset yet. So not sure if that happens this year.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or oblivious but there was a report saying Samsung will be using Mediatek 5G SoCs next year for their mid range phones. Next gen Mediatek is promising. However, I don't know when exactly will it release but it certainly isn't 3 to 5 years.

Other Chi... moreDon't act like a pro when you are not. Samsung can't make 50% profit by selling Display. I am pretty sure it's not over 20% .
I don't know the current price but couple years ago a FHD OLED used to cost more than 100$ for retail price.
Every year experts do a estimated cost for flagships. Samsung always sit among top for making less percent profit for cost. Which means Samsung gives the best value per $.
Do some research then talk again.
Tiny bezel > water drop notch > punch hole
Basically, the more they're trying to force the selfie camera in the screen, the stupider it looks. Just make the bezel as slim as possible and put the selfie camera in it, it's not that hard, e.g. Meizu 16s got it right.

Other Chinese companies when they buy Amoled from Samsung , Samsung profit 50% from it by selling it.
But Super Amoled is made by samsung and hence they dont need to buy it from anyone and it costs them half the price they sell it to others that is base manufacutring cost only.
hence the Super Amoled is not a FACTOR in pricing them higher for them
