Please do go on to tell me how this is cheap.
samsung should really change their UI design. It is very boring and it is the only reason i sold my s2, because i got bored of the touchwiz UI
pls samsung this time in ur s3 upgrade the display in ultra AMOLED and qude core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A9. and 1 more thing the gpu was improve e.g 230
Looks too future, and Samsung will not spend this much money for Alu body. They prefer cheap thin plastic. Unfortunetly..

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2012Calm down. I'm very calm and thank you for taking the time to put such a well thought out answer together.
AnonD-19143, 05 Apr 2012fake image.Of course its fake, thats why the reporter uses the word "render" Which implies it is not a picture of the real device!
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2012wow, that looks great. is apple still gonna complain?Yes because Apple and their fanboys are all a bunch of insecure and paranoid kids who will always be convinced that they invented everything since the dawn of time and therefore have the right to sue anyone else that makes a smartphone because it has a glass screen on the front of a thin rectangular box with rounded corners.
Again well done to Samsung if this is the real deal (although I somehow doubt it)for having thrown the mould away and making something that even the most blinkered and narrow minded Apple fan won't be able to say "copy".
i don't agree with you with the "most realistic" part. the first image one showing 22nd of may, was way more realistic than this. although i like this one much more !
and then, looking at the "III" the left one is separated, and there ! it's fake.
AnonD-49323, 05 Apr 2012It's fake. Look at the distance between the three III. The third is more close than the other ... moreGood spoting Juan! Agree its likely fake. If nothing else image is heavily digitally airbrushed -any buttons or mUSB (if there) would be brushed out so as not to detract from the overall 'organic' concept they want to show in a teaser release. Though there's an earlier comment claiming to be from a Samsung rep(?) saying it's real and all has been moved to the top... hopefully not.
As for unibody or Samsung never using metal could be they've gone the way of the Samsung Wave - meaning metal and battery cover. Biggest complaint of Galaxys is cheap plastic feel. Considering high end competition have lux materials (HTC, Apple, Razr, even Huwaei now), a superlight alloy with lighter Gorilla Glass 3 could be about the same weight as S2.

and there will be no Battery cover since it's a unibody design.
AnonD-2005, 05 Apr 2012The picture is showing the back side of the device...it's not the screen but the battery cover... moreThe press image just shows a part of the phone, where we can see a sleek metal casing that tapers and bends backwards towards the bottom, with the display infusing seamlessly on the front.
-from the article
its the FRONT.
and there will be no cover since it's a unibody design.
