Even by today s... moreIndeed, he is absolutely lost unfortunately :’D he seems to be clutching at straws, no other comparison sees the Note10 being a top Camera phone, the Pixel 4, Pixel 3a, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone XS Max and Mate 30 Pro are currently the best camera phones you can get. These devices all take high detail images in both bright and dim environments.
The Note10+ is decent but not at the level of the above phones.

The Instagram app is better tailored to iOS so iPhone pictures tend to look better on Instagram anyway, and even more so when it comes to Insta Stories.
It seems you are pretty clueless and are clutching on straws for the Note10, when the Mate 30 Pro beats it. :)

Even by today standards, the Note9 takes very good pictures and videos, comfortably better than the Poco.

What a shock.
In a good way, I mean. It's sad it doesn't have Google Play Services, otherwise, I would have waited for a price drop in the Mate 30, and get one.

Amount of detail increase and noise decrease, from p20pro to mate20/p30/mate30-pro, change is visible in every generation. Mate30pro already brings better detail with less of resolution than competitors. Even if minote10 got more detail, 1. its not comparable per pixel basis, 2. its not perfect as to detail preservation, hdr, low light...
Competitors next may come with new hw, but with huawei we can already predict how much better will it be - though its hard to imagine with such low light beast. Ir and uv may be the next thing.

Maybe you say that they use filters because the P30 Pro had a over filtered photos from the camera software by default.

Once again, MKBHD mentions this is not about quality, so if you are going to use this as a measurement then you are well out of touch.
And once again your logic fails, you use Social Media as an excuse but the first thing people do in social media is add a filter so there is literally no point here other than a Social Experiment.

Edit: the Note9 got beaten by the Poco sooooo close. That even many people on twitter voted for the Note9 but in instagram more went for the Poco.
