I searched for the earliest article about the design leaks on Galaxy A51/71 and Honor V30's and they were literally 1 day apart. You can't copy off other companies' designs in a single day, let alone in a month.

Apple Iphone is a trendsetter, therefore Huawei use it for marketing purposes. But i wouldnt call it as copying (as haters did), but inspired & later on improvise it. Resulting with design much more subtle & clean, camera & other features are better.

Another android maker copied Apple's camera look onc... moreJust in case you didn't know, Apple was the one who borrowed Mate 20 Pro's square camera design, turned it into a bunch of IH cooking stoves and put them onto the left hand corners so that they don't get criticised by people. So you completely got it other way around.

Apple copied Huawei.

Always keep your eyes open for Sept iPhone launches.. it always set the look for all phones to come in the next year.

Shui8, 19 Dec 2019Actually its not 'waterfall' screen design anymore. They reverts to much more subtle P30 Pro c... moreIf you think about it, the design is actuallly in line with P30 Pro. The camera lane layout has been fattened up to accommodate more cameras. So they aren't stealing anyone's design.
I do hope they go for a simple curved screen rather than the waterfall type though
