This may not be the most successful foldable phone, but it will easily be considered as an inspiration for future designs and ideas of foldable phones.
Perhaps in the foreseeable future, this aesthetic would be a signature for almost every smartphone today, just as how the iPhone 2G paved way to the current form factor that our smartphones have.
This phone looks very good... and that's about it. The specs are lackluster and its functionality is disappointing. It's good for people that feel nostalgia for the old RAZR and that want a small phone factor.
I really want to see Samsung release a foldable phone that looks like the Samsung galaxy 10e unfolded and like the Mate X unfolded.
The real reason is that it's being manufactured in India, and this is the reality of how well that's going.
I think they should add the little hinge protector that prevents the screen from lifting up during the fold sequence - like Samsung did with the Fold 2.0. BBC have a video on YouTube and the guy is literally able to peel the screen off with his thumb... it's quite am awkward sight and makes the phone look like a prototype.
Shadocx, 21 Dec 20192013-2016 chin + 2018 notch, but eh, at least you can fold it. I know that's the purpose of this phone (-_-)
BigDisplay, 20 Dec 2019I really can't see the point with this thingy. Mostly nostalgic things. This phone isn't for you if you care about specs.
