The Last Oracle, 24 Dec 2019Maybe it had something to do with Samsung holding the Patent for that one. they care not about patents, but the tech does have to reach their grubby fingers first.

and heard sammy pulled out all manufacturing ops from china recently.

1+1=11?

guess they finally realised other brands were easily getting access to their schematics, r&d etc. thru the local manufacturers and that they were losing more than gaining by running their ops there.

probably suddenly realised sammy had pulled out from china i.e. their main source for stealing tech had disappeared.

You don't understand physics if you're asking for these things... plus I am not sure why you're so paranoic.. I had like 10-15 phones over 20 years, and none of my batteries
posed safety concerns in any way... Yes, deterioration over time is a problem, but I rather have my battery last 5 days on a charge than my battery last 3 years over time... Battery safety and longevity is literally no innovation here. Capacity is.

Too bad... Whoever's pushing tech and innovation is great. I can't wait for a Samsung Note with graphene battery, but if Huawei does it sooner, it's good pressure on the rest of the world!

At least Huawei are not like Lenovo who announce fake news before launch. At least they announce news few months before launch.I don't mind about this Graphene battery or not,as long as their CPu is great as well as camera that's what we all need.

Companies should make new battery technology that do not burn, catch fire, swell overtime or pose any kind of risk to the environment. Also it should have 50,000 or more charge cycles, do not deteriorate over time. That would be the biggest invention/innovation of the century.

ENGINEER: I think there's graphene on the P40.
the internet: You didn't see graphene. (YELLING) You didn't because it's not there!

L973, 24 Dec 2019An official tweet is a rumour. Good one Huawei. Good one.Occurs when people behind the PR account are a loose cannon and a company doesn't fully acknowledge their influence, because PR managers are often not at all informed about technological details of products being developed (and this is Huawei official who tweeted this - not Huawei Mobile who is directly in charge of smartphones).

Huawei should've monitored their stuffs better so that they wouldn't have gone out of control and create a mess like this, and it's 100% their fault for letting this happen.
