AnonD-783442, 24 Dec 2019wtf is wrong with the battery industry?
why aren't they making any progrress?wtf is wrong with you?
why aren't you making any advancements in research?
tehyadro, 24 Dec 2019The tip of the pencil is made of graphene.Noob Lol
Anonymous, 24 Dec 2019Yes Graphene is 3000 layers of carbon atoms stacked on top of each other to form a thin film, ... morewrong. the very definition of graphene is an one atom thick layer, if you want, a fishnet-like foil made of carbon atoms, with the atoms placed in the knots in a 2d arrangement. basically it is produced by depositing carbon atoms, again, linked in a 2d manner on a solid surface thus resulting an extremely thin blanket / sheet. a multitude of sheets can be stacked into a 3d body.

tehyadro, 24 Dec 2019The tip of the pencil is made of graphene. That is graphite, not graphene.
It was reported a year ago that Samsung will have a graphene battery when their S12 launches, and obviously that puts their release in 2021 as well. 2021 looks to be the year of the graphene battery.
Love the Community, 24 Dec 2019Solid State Batteries should be first priority. Side Topic: I don't even know what graphene... moreThe tip of the pencil is made of graphene.
AnonD-783442, 24 Dec 2019wtf is wrong with the battery industry? why aren't they making any progrress?People are hard at work. There are too many things to consider. The industry is still looking for other alternatives like LiCO2 and a few others. I don't think you should complain.
yet probably 4800 or 4800mah
since mate30pro has massive 4500 iin its smaller than p30pro body
p40pro will be bigger as well

Side Topic: I don't even know what graphene... moreYes Graphene is 3000 layers of carbon atoms stacked on top of each other to form a thin film, this arrangement gives special metallic properties to a carbon atoms somehow.
Anyhow solid state batteries should be the first step, and then Graphene batteries next and then carbon nanotube finally.
Realistically we can expect Solid state batteries in 15 years (realistically) and then graphene in another 45 years and CNT batteries around 60 years from now.
wtf is wrong with the battery industry?

Solid State Batteries should be first priority.
Side Topic: I don't even know what graphene physically look like. All I see in Google was some bunch of atoms connected to each other.
Can we get a link to that tweet instead of a link to a chinese publication? Couldn't find the Huawei tweet on their account...
Kind of disappointing, but I can't say it wasn't obvious.
