Anonymous, 27 Dec 2019still no mmwave support on mediatek??? hahahahaa... they are really behind big time! good luck... moremmWave isn't going to be useful in gaming when small motion can disrupt the signal so it's not really important for mobile, mmWave is better suited for home broadband where the receiver is steady. sub6ghz is good enough which can still be better than LTE. take note, this is midrange

Perhaps a mid-range 5G chipset by MediaTek.

raaj, 27 Dec 2019you have zero knowledge, G90T is beast in that priceIndeed. And yet it might perform even better should MTK use a slightly more efficient 10nm process and Xiaomi provide better software to allow this beast of a chip roars at its fullest volume.

Side note: Whether you in Camp Qualcomm or Camp MediaTek, whenever competition heats up, consumers will win the most

MediaTek always brings something new and that dual 5G VoLTE in Dimensity 1000 is just superb.

I think MediaTek might surpass even Snapdragon this year with its range of 5G chipsets.

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2019You are lying because I've tried Redmi Note 8 Pro it was slower than Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite with Sna... morePoorly optimized software is not the chips fault, then Xiaomi is to blame! The Note 8 Pros chip is better than 710 every graphics test proves it, is the CPU faster? Maybe not...

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2019You are lying because I've tried Redmi Note 8 Pro it was slower than Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite with Sna... moreMaybe the MIUI version of Note 8 Pro is still far from good (fast n stable). Because on paper and benchmark, G90T is far ahead SD710.

I think Dimensity 800 chipset would be comparable to Snapdragon 845 processors.

Mark Davidson, 27 Dec 2019As of now, these chips don't support mmWave as they only work with sub-6 GHz frequencies, but ... morestill no mmwave support on mediatek??? hahahahaa... they are really behind big time! good luck with catching that!

MediaTek seems to doing much hard work, specially in the mid-range segment the G90T thats just kicks off SD 730G Both r gaming based SoC and the G90T is outstanding in that prospective.... So there is more chance that MediaTek may become a tough competitor to Snapdragon SoC..... Still waiting to see wat happens.....

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2019As long as snapdragon have competition they will be bigger improvements Great to see Mediatek providing competitive chipsets to Qualcomm's monopolistic arrogant attitude of business model

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2019G90T kicked 730G's ass big time! So, is posible that Mediatek can beat QualcomYou are lying because I've tried Redmi Note 8 Pro it was slower than Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite with Snapdragon 710 processor. Also forget about system updates and optimization if you choose MediaTek.
