I don't mind plastic build, or fingerprint reader on the back, or lack of the Soli radar, but Pixel is always about the software and camera experience, so the lack of full camera sensor array from Pixel 4 is a bad choice.

It's a Pixel, so you can expect an ugly design, plastic phone, hardware flaws and overpriced. Signs of their identity.
The jack and old fingerprint sensor is still present in one generation old flagships but still a lot better than these overpriced mid-rangers.

Rear-fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack = perfection. Punch hole = trash.

That's some unnecessarily huge punch hole camera and camera bump with large bezels and thick chin under the display. I thought they learned how to design their phones properly with Pixel 4 series, but I guess they just completely forgot it again. Sad.

If not wrong, iPhone SE2 ( affordable iPhone) will be launched somewhere around this time line.
If not priced properly, Pixel 4a cannot achieve the sucess 3a got.
iPhone SE2 will be in same price bracket. Anything more than iPhone SE2 will be a great mistake on part of Google, specially in price conscious market like India.
And if iPhone SE2 enters the market before Pixel 4a, it will surely make life more tough for 4a.
