Tej, 30 Dec 2019Still no indisplay biometric sensor.....Physical Reader is quicker and more accurate (thereby, more reliable) than the In-Display solution.
Well, these bezels mean (if it's true) no soli radar tech inside. Means they will launch it in India and other markets where they didn't the Regular Pixels.
AnonD-833125, 30 Dec 2019It's funny how a thing like the headphone jack is something that differentiates phones in 2020... moreEspecially when $20 headphones sound better than expensive Samsung and Apple bluetooth ones. Cheaper seems better these days.
Love the Community, 30 Dec 2019I know it has the best speakers ever on a phone in 2019. I don't really mind the bezels unless... moreBezels of meizu 16s for example do not have space for speaker, unless they put usb port on the side.
Speaker + screen connectors + usb port inside the bezel. Cant fit all them.
Still no indisplay biometric sensor.....

Sadly, Flagship phones are fashion phones. These consumers prefer the trendy ones like notches, punch holes, popups and more. The laymen won't care about using the features, they only say it and that's it.

Front firing speakers. Definitely don't mind some tiny bezel at the top and bottom.
Flagship manufacturers should ditch cut outs and punch holes and notches and instead provide with thin bezels to house front firing speakers and couple of front facing cameras and sensors.
AnonD-833125, 30 Dec 2019It's funny how a thing like the headphone jack is something that differentiates phones in 2020... morePay more? I have the dignity to use high quality studio headphones as my daily driver (even on a humid and sweaty afternoon going to work). My ATH-M50x wired headphones never failed me. If it died, I'll gladly pay more for another studio over ear headphones that cost a bit higher than mine. V-MODA, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser HDxxx, you name it.
I'll give up the headphone jack if there's an over-ear with Bluetooth 5.1 and above with all the Qualcomm wireless codexes, USB-C to charge, more battery, >40mm neodymium magnets, etc. and with a reasonable price. That didn't exist so I'll stick to wired headsets and flagships with headphone jack which is why I got the RoG Phone II.
Seems yucky. Not to mention the hardware will be low-par.
Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi seems to offer better quality and specs overall. Sorry Google, you fail.
Love the Community, 30 Dec 2019I know Google well. If they're using SD765G, they might as well price it for $499 - $549. If i... moreIt's funny how a thing like the headphone jack is something that differentiates phones in 2020. Sad face.
In 2020 the headphone jack will be common to low-end smartphones. If you want it on higher end models you need to pay more.
Lol.

It's $tupid for companies to have headphone jacks on midrange but not on flagships which Flagships are supposed to have everything without compromises. Pixel 5 should have a headphone jack...
Y'know what's funny? This "midranger" will probably be better overall than their crappy flagship. Google really need to rethink their whole smartphone lineup at this point.
AnonD-833125, 30 Dec 2019Not even Google will be that stupid. It will cost close to 1000 with 765
