T... moreXiaomi's Mi 9 Lite (CC9) is much better than the A50 with similar price , which means Samsung is not caring anymore about customers other than S & Note ones.
A70 has very large screen which makes it very difficult to use.
I need good specs, in a handy phone, that's what Xaomi did, i used to have all of these in the previous Galaxy A series , but now when Samsung killed A series for upgrading J series, it became rubbish

The A50 is like your average Joe. Not good, not bad just plain and simple. That is why probably people buy it so much.
If you want something more affordable with less features you go for A40 or A20. If you want something better and you are willing to pay extra you go for A70 or A80.
I think it can't be more simpler than that. And according to the sale figures, people understood this quite good.

The A71 is not even launched as yet and there is already talk of an A72?!?
Perhaps it'd make sense to skip the A71 and await the A72, which could have 5G amongst other features and improvements...

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2020Ummm For less than 250Euro you can get A40! brilliant phone.Neah, I actually bought the A20e instead of the A40.
A40 has oled screen and fullhd resolution. But has the same battery capacity as the A20e, who has tft screen and 720p.
A40 has worst battery life than A20e. For me battery life is more important than oled screen and 1080p resolution. Tft screens from Samsung are really good and at 5.8" you don't really need 1080p.
The processors are pretty much the same and I don't mind the gap between 32gb and 64gb storage, because I already had a microsd card 64gb.
So yeah..there is the explanation.

Why would they make the 2nd editions of the current editions if they didnt even make the first edition?
We need a Samsung A series phone with Snapdragon 765 that's par for the price compared to Realme, Redmi, Honor, and the likes.

Also, I was at a second hand store and I could get this money for it. But, I don't want to sell it because I don't have anything else to buy right now. Anything in the same amount of course. I don't want to spend more than 250 euros for a phone.

This announcement is specifically to all consumers those procure hardware components from Samsung. This signals that they have more products lined up for the second half of 2020 to push up the component demand/price.

Piece of advice to Samsung, inorder to standout among other competitors:
- M10,M20 and M30 phones should be budget series in the range of 8000 to 16,000 Rs.
- A50 and A70 phones should be S Lite series and must posses OIS and IP67 rating in the range of 19,000 to 28,000 Rs.
- A70 and A90 should be Note Lite series and must posess OIS, IP67 and S-Pen in the range of 30,000 to 35,000 Rs
