As for getting phones for features do you have a study that confirms that most people buy phones for features or is that your own baseless assumption?

Android 10 no available in India. Downloaded it on Saturday itself and so far the experience is good. I am seeing improvement in battery, camera, animation and display.

Samsung had a policy of two years of major os updates with regular or monthly security patchs and UI updates! That was still better in that situation compared to many manufacturers in that time.. And it's not only Samsung's fault but also Google was more responsible for this to don't not release major os updates for it's OEMs.. But now Google also being smart!

But now I understand that you are a prime iPhone user and keep android in your second pocket that's why you're obsessed with updates when can't even get any simple math! Cause as I said there won't be 1% of android users cry that much as you for updates!

I know the Note8 got OneUI but it is not getting Android 10 which is my whole point.
I never kept the Mate 10 Pro but wish I did.

I have a XS Max and P30 Pro right now along with the Note8 that I have given to a relative, but would like to have a Samsung again as well as I do like their hardware, but only when they fix their crappy update policy which is what I have been saying throughout this.

You on the other hand have been barely comprehensible with long rants that make no sense.

Because in previous comment you were saying good about their workings for update but now you're saying different! Actually you don't even what you want to say. At first fix your mind then talk about me.. And you surely don't own any Samsung note 8 because you didn't even know that it got One UI.. But I think you own a Mate 10 pro that's why you're still defending. What a hidden hero! Lol

But if you look at android it's already open forum for its provider! They can add what they need in their UI (the most lovely thing of linux) .. What actually you need which you didn't figure out is monthly security patch updates what is obviously available for Trim models, even my old S6 edge plus gets also that.. If you're talking about features, then you should've known that some features of new version of android were already in old Touchwiz UI of Samsung.. Google introduced it later..
