Android one is a va... moreNot only Xiaomi, even Pixel have poor optimisation, Nokia also, best optimisation on stock software have sor some reason, Motorola, at least, most of newer motorola phones (like G7 series, and One series..), belive or not, even ZTE phones from 2019 (all runs Stock Plus, vanila but with more options build in) have better optimisation in ram managment i battery usage, and in every day use, than for example Xiaomi Mi A3, or all Nokias from 2019..

Android one is a vanilla android. You talking about MIUI, custom android. It's different. As MiUi is Xiaomi's invention so it's natural Xiaomi's optimization will be top-notch. Vanilla is pure android. Xiaomi is very poor in pure android optimization.

In order to utilize the 9pv's camera correctly, you first need to know what you have on board. It's not for the average user, that's for sure. But the stills are damn perfect, really don't understand all the bashing this phone is getting, especially when it's above all the rest quality wise.

Have you check Nokia 7.2? see the comparison videos on youtube.
SD660 is still beating newer phones from other brands.
The reason for poor optimization is due to those bloatware's and improper implementations.
All nokia phones are android one so optimization are straight from google and they also have deep partition with google for proof see the profile of HMD Global on wikipedia.
And about the bloatware's you all know HMD phones are free from those bloatware.

From my experience, I can say HMD Nokia is best in RAM optimization. My last Android one was Mi A1. Xiaomi is very very poor in optimization. Even Nokia Android Go edition phones doing very well with 1gb RAM. I have two Nokia android go phones besides one Nokia Android One with a moderate amount of apps inside all the phones running very smoothly.

And the SD865 from HMD-Nokia will be old when it arrives in Q4 of 2020 when 5nm SoCs will reign and be more powerful and efficient too. And in the true flagships from competitors with awesome cameras. As usual, HMD always late, overpriced and with crap cameras that even are fixed and need post-edition to get some mediocre result.

Why not Xiaomi, oppo, Realme, Vivo, Huawei even or Honor ? All these have more potential then Samsung that have existed as long as Nokia and polluting the market with 30-40 phone models a year.

On other hand, Huawei and Samsung releases that many phones every month. Due to limited no. of phones, Nokia manage to provide monthly security updates and OS updates on time, which others can't. No need to flood the market with too many phones with various specifications and price with no OS updates.

Even needing post-edition...
