Well LG sis another company like Siemens or Sony Erricsson or Gionee or HTC which deserve an end of their phone lines.
They offers nothing exciting and their even the lowest of the low devices cost too much.

Motherboard problems happen because of viruses (can be fixed) and all that. In rare cases, the parts are at fault.

All they need is a G9 with the same stuff as the 8 but with stereo speakers, 90Hz refresh rate, Sony's 60MP sensor, and 5,000 mAH battery minimum along with charging at least $200 cheaper than the Galaxy S20. Then a 5G V60 with the same specs only bigger battery and they would get back on track.

Double sided tape is not easy to remove, yes, but permanent adhesive is even worse than that. I swapped the battery of an S8 and the back glass was way more difficult to remove than the battery (took me 2h for the glass back alone). I used isopropyl alcohol to loosen the glue.

As far as I know isopropyl does not have an effect on permanent adhesive.

I am also well aware of Samsung switching to glue. I don't know what kind of glue that will be though. I already switched to another brand aswell.
