sdibie, 12 Apr 2012Hello everyone! I just updated my 701 software to fp1. Now, I have problems. Whenever I lock m... moreHey me too. Screen light is not turning off at all. I do not know where to fix it. I tried in the Display Menu but it is not working. Anyone?
Nokia fan, 13 Apr 2012yeah, even if the 1st gen symbian^3 get this update, their processor won't have any changes. t... morehmmmm..but we do not know what will we get, i just hope there is update for first gen that their processor will get updte too.,just a wishes guys...hehehe
yeah, even if the 1st gen symbian^3 get this update, their processor won't have any changes. the increase in processor speed in the 700 and 701, and probably 603, is because they were shipped with 1.3 ghz processor but are clocked at 1ghz because of software limitations.
dear all and nokia in particular
ive been using the c7 for last more then a year and recently switched to galaxy note. before switching i updated the c7 to belle. i loved my c7 till i had used the note. but now with both in direct comparison i realize what ive been missing all along. in itself the c7 or any other belle running nokia is a good phone but when u compare the two there is only one winner and the major difference is in the OS and the application support it has.
Anonymous, 13 Apr 2012Will they also get an cpu boost?
I don't think so!i think the first gen devices will not get any update about the processor update.
nokiakiller, 12 Apr 2012u nokia fans can only talk about past ...... where is the present n future ..... Dont know....... moreNokia already lead the market for more than 10 years. Sammy is a little 2 year kid.
Sammy is at peak now, due to Android. So wait until WP became a matured OS. Maybe it in WP8 or WP9, then u will see, once again Nokia will rocks.
hey..the symbian^3 first gen devices will get these update soon..just wait guys..here i got an info from dailymobile.se

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2012I just updated my Nokia 700 to Belle FP1. I like the processor speed, things open faster. The ... moreyea I agree, the old menu look is more preferable, the new one looks awkward compared to the old and more subtle one.
on the other hand, power consumption seems to increase with the new processor speed. hardly noticeable but yeah.
The update for 701 is just super but one thing I am mad aboit is that the calender view has been changed.
You cant have week overview anymore. Just month, day and agenda.
It is a phone for gods sake, not a 26 inch screen computer, you must have week view. Come on Nokia, fix this.
who told u Its 4 Asia only? Am in Ghana, West Africa, n I've received de FP1 on ma 701. Mehn Its soo cul.thanx Nokia
got update on my 701, runs smoother, music player imroved and phone runs smoother too
nokiakiller, 12 Apr 2012u nokia fans can only talk about past ...... where is the present n future ..... Dont know....... moreof course, it's with samsung, however, as the saying goes, what goes up must come down. Nokia has been beaten. now it's only a matter of time before samsung falls and another one takes its place. relax, give it a few years.
NOnokia, 12 Apr 2012that's the point, sammy was nowhere and Nokia was the one on top. Now Nokia is on the decline.... moreyes, that's my point, nokia WAS once a top dog before. now to the real point, what's up with sammy lovers here in a nokia post? oh, and yes, I acknowledge sammy's power in the smartphone world, cus lets face it, they are good. I mean, everywhere you go, there's sammy and htc. however, you don't have to brag about it.
@ nokiakiller, Samsung relies solely on Android os. without it there nothing. you clear never used there original software. I kind of wish Nokia would allow a phone to use android. but then you would be able to tell the deference, whether Samsung, Motorola, LG, etc... I like Nokia dare to be different. I don't really like the windows phone even though I have one, it seems like more of a Windows Nokia retaliation against mac. I hope this is just temporary while Nokia works on there own O.S..
