MagicMonkeyBoy, 07 Jan 2020Got a feeling that MediaTek will end up overtaking Qualcomm. They'll do that if they unlock every single kernels and open source their codes. XDA is a determinant there which is why Qualcomm will always be the best. GCam will not be in Mediatek phones because Google's camera algorithms are more Snapdragon-centric than anything else. Some manage to port it to Exynos but that's a lot of hard work and time to pull this off.

I won't buy even 7G MediaTek phone. MediaTek phones are losing their performance sooner compared by Snapdragon.

Can't wait to see future MTK chips. They look really promising compared to Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Midrange?? It's got four CA76 cores! Also G77 too. Mediatek is really changing the game.
